    They seem to be very reluctant to gain new private patients! Despite reading other negative reviews on here about the quality of service, I decided I'd give them a chance, ad it's a convenient location. I was expected to pay up front £120 over the phone in order to book appointment....If the receptionist had been even remotely friendly, I might have given this surgery a chance and done so! Will look elsewhere now.

    Half Moon Dental Practice was recommended to us (by several people)some years ago. Since then we have had check ups, fillings and crowns; all have been carried out thoroughly, almost pain free and with terrific results.

    I phoned the dentist reception to ask if this was correct and I was informed by a very curt receptionist that basically tough! You gotta pay. I also requested the possibility of having my teeth cleaned at the same time. To which again I was told not for over four weeks and it’s money up front again.

    The staff are friendly, sympathetic, very helpful (especially in an emergency) and there is no pressure to have unnecessary work, as occurs in many other practices.

    I decided it was probably just one of those things, I few weeks later I thought I’d try and register online and give them a chance. All good, until booking an appointment. When they demand up front Money for an appointment.
